In this class you will be learning basic patterns and techniques for what I like to refer to as “doodling on steroids”. I will provide each student with a list of my favorite supplies and printed handouts with sample patterns for reference. We will complete practice “doodles”, practice drawing “strings”, and begin working on final project. We will also learn how to add shading and shadows to make your final project POP!
In this fun and creative class, we will create three beautiful, sparkly and customized holiday ornaments in plenty of time for Christmas. Get a jump-start on your decorations by learning how to use a die-cutting machine, vinyl, DIY ornaments and a few more materials to make one of these for every member of your family, for gifts and to sell for extra cash.
This class consists of several instructional components. First I will teach you how to apply the materials necessary for a bright and colorful ornament with "staying power". Then I will demonstrate the basics for using a Silhouette die-cutting machine to customize and cut vinyl. Next we will learn how to apply vinyl to materials...in this case it will be shatterproof ornaments. Finally, we will add the finishing touches to each of our projects to create 3 completed pieces.
I will include complete, printed instructions, two round ornaments, two vinyl die-cut names, one disc ornament, pre-cut vinyl Grinch face, Grinch “hair”, ribbon, several colors of glitter and other necessary materials.

12 Addictive Projects with a Alcohol Inks
In this class you will learn how to create 12 gorgeous, colorful and eye-catching projects...from cards to jewelry to home decor...using alcohol inks and a few simple tools. I will provide each student with a packet of project materials, complete instructions, handouts for you to keep for future projects, a complete supply list of everything we use during the class (so you’ll know what to purchase afterwards if you like some projects more than others), and most importantly, a lot of fun while you enjoy time out of your busy schedule to join me.
All you need to bring is your favorite set(s) of alcohol inks and basic supplies (from the supply list below) and your creative spirit.
For those with sensitive respiratory systems, isopropyl alcohol and alcohol inks can be very strong. Although we will utilizing a large space, please plan to allow yourself time to get up and go outside during the class if the fumes get too harsh. You will be given all of the materials to take with you if that should happen, as I don't want you to miss a thing!
Beginners class focusing on one project and the best tools, paints, and methods for creating Dot Mandalas.
Dot Mandalas are an elegant art form that are as relaxing to create as they are beautiful to display! Once you’ve learned the basics in this class, you’ll be able to create works of art on canvas, stones, pendants, ornaments and more!
In this class I will provide you with printed handouts, complete instructions, step-by-step patterns and the basic materials to complete one dot mandala on a black 4x4 canvas panel. The first sample is the project we will be completing in class.
I will supply the paints, canvas, and every day items to use as tools. All you will need to purchase is a small set of tools to bring with you (see the supply list). There is a wide variety of other tool options available, and we will go over my favorites in class, so that you can decide what you like best before purchasing anything else.
